Department of Ophthalmology Inaugurates Advanced Diagnostic and Therapeutic Facilities for Eye Care
The Department of Ophthalmology at BGS Medical College and Hospital, a constituent institution of Adichunchanagiri University, reached a significant milestone in clinical excellence with the formal inauguration of its upgraded facilities titled Advances in Eye Care. Held on August 11, 2026, at the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department, the event showcased the institution’s ongoing commitment to integrating cutting edge healthcare technology with compassionate patient care and academic rigor.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Gangadhara K. S., Principal of BGS Medical College and Hospital, and Dr. Krishnamurthy V. R., Chief of Hospital, alongside Resident Medical Officer Dr. Pradeep.
