2nd Dose Hepatitis B Vaccine drive activitiy for II MBBS Students at BGS Medical College and Hospital, Nagarur

The Department of Pediatrics successfully conducted the administration of the second dose of Hepatitis B vaccination for MBBS students on 21 January 2026 as part of the institutional immunization and infection-prevention program. The vaccination session was organized in accordance with National Immunization recommendations and standard biosafety protocols to ensure safe and effective delivery of the vaccine. Vaccine storage, handling, and administration were performed following cold-chain maintenance guidelines and aseptic techniques. Post-vaccination observation was undertaken to monitor for immediate adverse events, and no significant adverse reactions were reported. The activity contributed to enhancing occupational health protection and reducing the risk of hepatitis B virus transmission among future healthcare professionals.
