Dr. Sahana Devdas from BGS Medical College & Hospital Invited as Resource Faculty for ITC PG 2026 at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI)

Dr. Sahana Devdas, Professor of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics, BGS Medical College and Hospital, was invited as a resource faculty for the 10th Intensive Training Course for Postgraduates (ITC PG 2026) organized by the Department of Pediatrics, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), in association with the Medical Education Chapter of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and IAP Bangalore. The four-day examination-oriented training program was conducted from July 23 to 26, 2026, bringing together postgraduate students for comprehensive academic sessions focused on clinical excellence and examination preparedness. 150 Pediatrics PG Students have attended from across India.

As part of the Day 3 academic schedule, Dr. Sahana Devdas served as faculty for the session titled “Tiny Patient Big Clues Unlocked: Preterm / Twin / Jaundice,” where she shared her expertise on the clinical evaluation and management of neonatal and pediatric conditions. The session emphasized evidence-based clinical practices, diagnostic reasoning, and practical approaches to managing common yet challenging neonatal scenarios, providing valuable insights for postgraduate trainees.

The intensive training course featured bedside clinical teaching, case-based discussions, OSCE training, spotters, table viva sessions, and interactive academic discussions, offering participants a comprehensive platform to strengthen their theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in Pediatrics.
