Department of Emergency Medicine Elevates Institutional Preparedness through Code Blue Training of Trainers Program at BGS Medical College & Hospital, Nagaruru
The Department of Emergency Medicine successfully conducted the Code Blue Training of Trainers program on July 24 2026 marking a significant advancement in the institutions clinical emergency preparedness. Held at the MEU Hall and the Skill and Simulation Lab the intensive training session was designed to address the critical nature of life threatening emergencies where rapid and well coordinated team responses are essential for patient survival. By focusing on both clinical expertise and pedagogical skills the program aimed to establish a dedicated cohort of leaders capable of educating fellow nursing staff and healthcare professionals across the entire hospital system.
The curriculum for the day was meticulously structured to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Participants engaged in comprehensive didactic sessions that covered the latest protocols in emergency cardiac care and resuscitation. These lectures were followed by rigorous hands-on skill training sessions where attendees refined their techniques under the guidance of field experts.
