National Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Conference 2026 Convene at IISc Bengaluru to Explore Advanced Clinical Paradigms
The Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Chapter successfully hosted the National Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Conference 2026 at the J N Tata Auditorium, located within the prestigious Indian Institute of Science campus in Bengaluru. Held on September 19 and 20, 2026, the biennial gathering served as a vital platform for medical professionals to explore advanced diagnostic and therapeutic paradigms in the rapidly evolving field of pediatric immunology. The event attracted more than four hundred delegates including clinicians, researchers, and postgraduate students from across the country.
The comprehensive scientific program featured a distinguished roster of speakers from both domestic and international medical institutions. Discussions primarily focused on expanding the clinical understanding of pediatric conditions beyond traditional diagnostic tools such as skin testing. Attendees engaged with cutting edge research concerning the complex immunological pathways that define childhood allergies, emphasizing the need for a multifaceted approach to patient care and long term management.
A significant highlight of the second day was the exploration of emerging technologies within the healthcare sector. One of the most anticipated sessions, titled Artificial Intelligence in Allergy Beyond the Buzz, was delivered by Dr B V Balachandra. This session provided a critical analysis of how machine learning and predictive analytics are poised to transform the diagnosis and personalized treatment of allergic diseases. The session was formally chaired by an esteemed faculty member, ensuring a rigorous academic exchange between the presenter and the audience regarding the practical implementation of these digital tools in clinical settings.
The conference was further enriched by the presence and contributions of several notable leaders in the field, including Dr Paramesh, Dr A R Somashekar, Dr Sowmya, Dr Rawat, and Dr Sukumar. Their participation underscored the collaborative spirit of the IAP Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Chapter and its commitment to fostering academic excellence. The successful conclusion of the conference reinforces the importance of continuous professional development and highlights the Indian Institute of Science as a premier venue for high level scientific discourse in the medical sciences.
