BGS Medical College and Hospital Conducts Free Community Health Camp at Prestige Jindal City

BGS Medical College and Hospital successfully organized a comprehensive free health camp at Prestige Jindal City in Anchepalya Madnayaknalli on June 27, 2026. The initiative served as a vital community outreach program, providing essential diagnostic services and medical consultations to approximately 150 residents. By bringing quality healthcare directly to the residential doorstep, the institution reaffirmed its commitment to public health and preventive medicine.

The clinical team provided a robust suite of screening services designed to identify common health issues and chronic conditions among the participants. Every attendee underwent a series of diagnostic tests including hemoglobin estimation, blood group determination, and random blood sugar assessments. Furthermore, medical professionals conducted systematic blood pressure monitoring to evaluate cardiovascular health. These preliminary screenings served as a critical baseline for identifying individuals at risk of anemia, diabetes, and hypertension.

Following the initial screenings, those identified with abnormal findings or specific health concerns received personalized consultations with specialist physicians. The medical experts provided detailed risk assessments and clinical guidance, ensuring that every participant understood their health status and the necessary steps for further management. This individualized approach helped bridge the gap between initial detection and long-term medical follow-up, emphasizing the importance of timely intervention in maintaining overall well-being.

The event was held under the distinguished presence of Dr. Jyothi, Resident and Professor of Physiology at BGS Medical College and Hospital. The execution of the camp was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the PJC Apartment Owners Association and the administrative leadership of BGS MCH. A dedicated team of medical professionals, including Dr. Sreelatha, Dr. Kusuma, Dr. Pavithra, Dr. Shrusti, Dr. Nagapriya, Dr. Chetana, and Dr. Gahana, contributed their expertise alongside public relations officers and nursing staff.

The successful conclusion of this health camp underscores the institutional mission to promote early disease detection and enhance health literacy within the local community. Through such proactive healthcare initiatives, BGS Medical College and Hospital continues to play a pivotal role in improving the accessibility of quality medical services and fostering a culture of health consciousness among urban populations.
