BGS Vijnatham Institute of Nursing Sciences Hosts Comprehensive Parents-Teachers Meeting for B.Sc. Nursing
The BGS Vijnatham Institute of Nursing Sciences successfully organized a comprehensive Parents-Teachers Meeting for its nursing cohorts on July 23 and 24, 2026. The two-day event, held at the BGS VINS Building, was specifically designed for students of the Fourth Semester B.Sc. Nursing from the 2024-2025 batch and the Second Semester B.Sc. Nursing from the 2025-2026 batch. Utilizing a hybrid platform to ensure maximum accessibility, the sessions ran from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day, fostering a collaborative environment for academic and professional evaluation.
The primary objective of the meeting was to facilitate a thorough review of student progress while bridging the communication gap between the institution and the families of the scholars. A significant turnout of 268 parents participated in the sessions, adhering to pre-allotted time slots to engage in personalized discussions with assigned mentors. These interactions allowed for a detailed examination of each student’s journey within the rigorous nursing program, emphasizing the shared responsibility of the institution and parents in nurturing future healthcare professionals.
