LAMP LIGHTING AND OATH TAKING CEREMONY 2024-25 BATCH
On May 28, 2025, at 9:00 AM, the Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony for the 2024-25 batch of Bsc Nursing Students was held at the BGS VINS Lecture Theatre. The ceremony commenced with the invocation song by Mr.Libin M B, invoking divine blessings to mark the beginning of this significant event. The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandhanatha Maha Swamiji, Dr. K S Gangadhara (Dean Cum Principal, BGS MCH), Dr. I Clement (Dean Cum Professor, Benedict Group of Institute), Mr. Ravichandra (Chief Architect, ACU), Dr. Krishnamurthy (Chief of Hospital, BGS MCH), Lt. Col. Cecily P J (Principal, BGS VINS), Dr. Madan Mohan (Principal, BGS VIPT), and Dr. Bhairesh A (Principal, AMC)
Mrs. Vita Leena D’Souza welcomed the gathering and introduced the esteemed guests. The ceremony featured the lighting of the main lamp by dignitaries, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and compassion. Lt. Col. Cecily P J presented semester report, followed by the lamp lighting and oath-taking ceremony, where Dr. I. Clement administered the Oath. Words of divine blessings were delivered by Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandhanatha Maha Swamiji, Dr. I Clement, and Dr. K S Gangadhara, emphasized compassion, empathy, dedication, and professionalism. Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandhanatha Maha Swamiji felicitated Dr. I. Clement and distributed prizes to academic toppers Ms. Anat Antano, Ms. Niranjana Jeyaprakash, and Ms. Athulya Krishna. The ceremony concluded with vote of thanks by Mrs. Kavita Betagiri ,followed the national anthem, and a photo shoot with dignitaries and students.
Following the ceremony, refreshments were provided to the guests and participants. This was followed by cultural events showcasing the talents of the students, adding a vibrant and festive touch to the occasion.
