Dr. Renuka R Represents BGS Medical College & Hospital as Facilitator at WFSA-Endorsed Vital Anaesthesia Simulation Training

The Indian Association for Vital Anaesthesia Simulation Training successfully concluded a comprehensive two day immersive workshop at Sindhu Hospitals in Hyderabad, held from April 3 to April 4, 2026, the Vital Anaesthesia Simulation Training program provided an intensive platform for anaesthesia providers to engage with critical clinical scenarios through advanced simulation technology endorsed by WFSA (World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists) with accreditation from Association for Simulation Practice in Healthcare (ASPiH).

Dr. Renuka R served as the primary facilitator for the simulation training, bringing her extensive expertise to the instructional sessions. Under her guidance, attendees explored the critical relationship between clinical proficiency and human factors. The training emphasized that clinical success in anaesthesia depends not only on technical expertise but also on the ability of the provider to manage stress, lead surgical teams, and maintain clear communication under duress. As a special mention, very few facilitators are available in every country. It is an honour to represent BGSMCH as facilitator for a course endorsed by WFSA.
