Academic & Administrative Audit (AAA) Conducted Successfully at BGSMCH, Nagaruru Campus

The Academic & Administrative Audit (AAA) for the academic year 2025–26 was successfully conducted on 1st and 2nd April 2026 at BGSMCH, Nagarur Campus under the aegis of Adichunchanagiri University The audit was organized as part of the University’s continuous quality enhancement initiative to evaluate institutional performance, academic systems, administrative efficiency, clinical training infrastructure, student support mechanisms, and overall institutional development.

The program witnessed the presence of distinguished members of the external audit committee, university administrators, principals, faculty members, department heads, and institutional coordinators.

The event commenced with a formal welcome session where the audit team and dignitaries were warmly received with floral honours. The session reflected the institution’s commitment towards academic excellence, transparency, and continuous quality improvement.
Dr. Krishnamurthy VR, Chief of Hospital, BGSMCH, delivered the welcome address and highlighted the institution’s journey, achievements, healthcare service contributions, and academic growth initiatives.

The audit session was structured comprehensively and included:

The audit team later proceeded for institutional and departmental rounds, visiting various academic departments, laboratories, skill labs, hospital facilities, libraries, research infrastructure, and student support areas for on-site evaluation. A detailed document verification session was conducted wherein academic records, administrative files, committee proceedings, quality assurance documentation, research records, and statutory compliance files were reviewed by the audit team.

Audit Team Feedback & Observations : During the concluding exit meeting, the audit team appreciated the institution’s steady progress in academic and clinical domains and acknowledged the strong leadership commitment toward institutional development and quality healthcare education.

The audit committee observed that the institution has significant opportunities for further advancement in:
Clinical research and funded research activities
Publications and collaborative studies
Super-specialty healthcare services
International academic collaborations and exchange programs
Student welfare and residential facilities
Community outreach and preventive healthcare initiatives
