Clinicopathological Correlation (CPC) Series at BGS Medical College and Hospital, Nagaruru

Introduction
The Department of Pathology organized the fifth session of the Clinicopathological Correlation (CPC) series in collaboration with the Department of ENT on 24th March 2026 at 2:00 PM in the MEU Hall, BGS Medical College and Hospital, Nagarur. The session aimed to enhance clinical and pathological understanding through case-based discussion and interdisciplinary learning.

Event Proceedings
The session focused on a case of a 24-year-old female presenting with nasal obstruction and a recurring mass in the nasopharynx. The case was systematically discussed, highlighting the clinical presentation, diagnostic challenges, and pathological evaluation.

The session was presented by Dr. Shreyanka, Assistant Professor from the Department of ENT, and Dr. Kruthika Naik, Associate Professor from the Department of Pathology. The presenters elaborated on the clinical findings and correlated them with histopathological features, providing a comprehensive understanding of the case.

The final diagnosis of Primary Nasopharyngeal Amyloidosis was established and confirmed using Congo red staining and polarising microscopy. The session encouraged active participation and discussion among attendees, fostering a deeper understanding of rare pathological conditions.
