Dr. Renuka R Represents BGS Medical College & Hospital as External Expert at PG-SIMSCON 2026
The Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre hosted PG-SIMSCON 2026 on July 2, 2026. The academic gathering was meticulously designed as a preparatory exercise for postgraduates to develop confidence in attending clinical examination. By integrating basic sciences with clinical practice, the conference provided a robust platform for anaesthesiology residents to refine their clinical acumen and diagnostic reasoning. A notable highlight of the proceedings was the participation of Dr. Renuka R, Professor and Head of the Department of Anaesthesiology at BGSMCH, Nagarur. Serving as an external expert, Dr. Renuka moderated high-level sessions focusing on anaesthesia management for patients presenting with ischemic heart disease coupled with hypertension, as well as those suffering from obstructive jaundice.
