Introduction

The Department of Pediatrics, BGS MCH, conducted a highly informative and interactive session on “Immunization in Children” for the nursing staff on 9th October 2025. The program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of nursing personnel regarding routine immunization practices, national guidelines, and best practices in pediatric vaccination. Strengthening the capacity of nursing staff plays a crucial role in ensuring effective immunization services and improved child health outcomes.

Objectives of the Program

The key objectives of the session were:

  • To familiarize participants with the National Immunization Schedule and latest guidelines
