BGS Medical College and Hospital recently conducted a comprehensive Orientation Program on National Medical Commission (NMC) Quarterly Report Submission on 08 July 2026 at the MEU Hall. Organized by the Curriculum Committee, the session aimed to streamline the complex administrative requirements essential for maintaining institutional compliance and academic excellence. The program served as a critical platform for faculty members, heads of departments, and members of the Medical Education Unit to align their reporting protocols with the latest regulatory standards.

The proceedings commenced with opening remarks from Dr. Raghuram, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, who emphasized the importance of precision and transparency in institutional documentation. The session provided a detailed walkthrough of the twenty-one specific forms required by the National Medical Commission each quarter. Each form was deliberated upon to ensure that all attendees understood the nuanced data points and evidence-based documentation necessary for successful submission.

Strategic insights were provided by the senior leadership of the institution, including Dean Dr. K. S. Gangadhara, Chief of Hospital Dr. V. R. Krishnamurthy, and Resident Medical Officer Dr. Pradeep. Their contributions highlighted the intersection of administrative diligence and the broader mission of providing high-quality medical education and healthcare services. The leadership underscored that meticulous reporting is not merely a regulatory necessity but a reflection of the institution’s commitment to academic integrity and operational efficiency.

The event was expertly coordinated by Dr. Satish S. Patil, Medical Education Unit Coordinator, whose efforts ensured a productive flow of information and collaborative discussion. Key contributions to the organizational framework were also made by Dr. Nikhil S. Bharadwaj, Coordinator of the Curriculum Committee, and Dr. Spoorthy S., Member of the Curriculum Committee. Their involvement ensured that the technical aspects of the curriculum and faculty workload were accurately captured within the reporting guidelines.

The orientation concluded with a renewed sense of collective responsibility among the academic and administrative staff. By fostering a thorough understanding of the reporting landscape, BGS Medical College and Hospital continues to demonstrate its proactive engagement with national regulatory bodies. This initiative marks a significant step in enhancing the administrative workflow of the institution, ensuring that all departmental data is compiled with the highest level of accuracy and professional rigor.
