BGS Medical College & Hospital Faculty Represent the Institution at CoPID Karnataka 2026

The Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences hosted CoPID Karnataka 2026, a prestigious conference on Pediatric Infectious Diseases, from June 26 to June 28, 2026. Organized by the Department of Pediatrics, the conference brought together an eminent gathering of pediatricians, infectious disease specialists, researchers, academicians, and postgraduate students from across Karnataka. The three-day scientific event served as a dynamic platform for the exchange of clinical knowledge, evidence-based practices, and recent advances in the diagnosis and management of pediatric infectious diseases.

The conference featured an extensive scientific program comprising keynote lectures, panel discussions, and interactive academic sessions delivered by distinguished experts from the Infectious Diseases Chapter. Renowned faculty members including Dr. Shivananda, Dr. Kasi, Dr. Narayanappa, Dr. Kishore Baindur, Dr. Swarna Rekha Bhat, Dr. Karthik Nagesh, Dr. Baasava Raj, and Dr. Abhishek Phadke shared their expertise on contemporary challenges in pediatric infectious diseases.
