AETCOM Student Activities at BGS Medical College & Hospital

The Department of Pharmacology organized a Video Making Competition on January 31st 2026 on the Principles of Bioethics as part of the AETCOM (Attitude, Ethics, and Communication) learning module for second-year MBBS students.

Five teams participated, each tackling one of the core bioethics principles: Autonomy, Beneficence, Maleficence, Justice, and Paternalism. The videos showcased creative interpretations and thought-provoking perspectives on these essential concepts.

The judges, Dr. Satheesh BC and Dr. Priya M Narayankar, evaluated the videos based on content, presentation, and impact. The competition provided a unique platform for students to engage with bioethics principles and develop critical thinking and communication skills.

The event was a valuable learning experience for the students, and the Department of Pharmacology congratulates all participants on their efforts.
