Introduction
In alignment with the World Health Organization (WHO) call, World Patient Safety Day was observed at BGS Medical College & Hospital on 17th September 2025. This year’s theme, “Patient Safety from the Start”, emphasized the importance of ensuring safe care for newborns and children, highlighting avoidable risks and ways to strengthen a patient-centric culture.
